Patagonia Foods was started in 2005 and has enjoyed rapid growth since inception supplying its customers with over 500 trucks of frozen fruit each year.
Patagonia Foods was founded by Gary Bernstein. Our team has over 80 years experience in the frozen fruit industry, from growing, processing, and purchasing to distribution and sales.

Key Region Profiles
Patagonia Foods’ Mexico processing arm is one of the largest and fastest growing processors of frozen fruit in Mexico. We are able to offer Strawberries, Blackberries, Mangoes, Papaya, Raspberries, Blueberries and various tropical purees, moving an average of one load of frozen fruit every day during production. We run fruit all year and are able to accommodate off-season production for various packs.
One of our key production facilities for California strawberry production is Pacific Ridge Farms LLC. A privately owned grower and processor, it boasts a state of the art plant and a huge volume of organic strawberry production base, ensuring availability for the industry’s largest customer orders.
Inventory Where You Need It
For our larger corporate customers Patagonia Foods works with their distribution infrastructure. We also carry inventory in the south east (Orlando, FL, Smyrna, TN, and Atlanta, GA), south central (McAllen and Ft. Worth, TX), and west coast (Bakersfield, San Diego, and Patterson, CA) locations that can service our regional customers.
